Amaru University was founded in 2017 in memoriam of the late Activitst, Tupac Amaru Shakur. At the age of 17, young Shakur gave an outline for what he believed a school's curriculum should look like. He believed in teaching the youth about life. Based on his views, we at Thrift Element Aparrel Co. have created a learning center based on the different subjects that will ultimately prepare us for what is to come in the world.

Desiree A. RobinsonFounder, Thrift Element Apparel Co.Desiree Robinson, 26, founded Amaru University in the hopes of fulfilling a small portion of Tupac Shakur's idea of education. She is also the Founder and Owner of Thrift Element Apparel Co. which is an apparel company that creates controversial and conversational T-Shirts based on social and political issues in the Black Community.
